(the “Official Rules”)

MyRogers Daily Spin to Win! CONTEST
(the “Contest”)


These Official Rules govern the Contest. By participating or attempting to participate in the Contest, you will be deemed to have received, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules.

1. WHO ARE THE SPONSORS?

The Contest is sponsored and administered by Rogers Communications Inc. or one of its subsidiaries or their affiliates (“Rules”).
Rogers and any co-sponsors of the Contest are referred to collectively or individually as the “Sponsors”.

Although the Contest may be communicated, promoted, or administered by means of a third party social media or social networking service or site (a “Third Party Service”), the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any Third Party Service; any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest should be directed to Rogers and not to any Third Party Service.

2. WHO MAY ENTER THE CONTEST?

The Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who: (i) have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry; and (ii) were a Rogers customer in good standing before the start of the Entry Period (as defined in Section 3 below). For clarity, Rogers customers are customers who use or subscribe to products and/or services (wireless, cable, internet) from Rogers.

3. CONTEST PERIOD

You may enter the Contest between 09:00:01 a.m. ET on June 28, 2017 and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Sept 26, 2017 (“Entry Period”). All times referenced in these Official Rules are Eastern Time.

4. HOW DO I ENTER THE CONTEST?

No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.

(a) HOW TO REGISTER

To register for the Contest, you must visit the Contest website at http://myrogersdailyspintowin.com (the “Contest Website”) during the Entry Period and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process, which will require you to:

Once you have fully completed the registration process, click the 'submit' button to complete your registration (a “Registration”). To be eligible, your Registration must be fully completed and submitted during the Entry Period.

Limit of one (1) Registration per eligible entrant - you only need to register one (1) time in this Contest, and you may only register once for the Contest. If you complete a Registration in accordance with these Official Rules, you will receive five (5) daily plays (each, a “Daily Play”).

(b) HOW TO OBTAIN ADDITIONAL DAILY PLAYS

In order to play the online wheel game (the “Game”), you will first need to use a Daily Play. You can receive additional Daily Plays (i.e. in addition to those received in connection with a Registration – see above for details) if you submit Codes (defined below) on the Contest Website following to on-screen instructions provided during the Entry Period.

You will receive five (5) Daily Plays for each unique Contest code (each, a “Code”) that you enter during the Entry Period. To obtain a Code: visit any Rogers Wireless Dealer or Corporate store in Canada during the Entry Period and obtain a Code from a store representative (while supplies last).

You can only enter each different Code one (1) time during the Entry Period. Each different Code that you obtain will automatically expire at the end of the Entry Period, or after you use it for the first time (whichever occurs first). There is a limit of three (3) Code submissions per person and a corresponding limit of fifteen (15) Daily Plays per person for submitting Codes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any given Daily Play can only be used once per Day (where a “Day” is defined as beginning at 12:00:01 a.m.ET and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. ET) during the Entry Period. There is a total limit of twenty (20) Daily Plays per person.

(c) HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

To play the Game, follow the on-screen instructions to use one (1) Daily Play to play the Game (a “Play”). Each Play will allow you to perform two (2) spins (each, a “Spin”) of the Game wheel (the “Game Wheel”). The Game Wheel is comprised of the following Game Wheel segments (each, a “Segment”):

  1. Large Draw Prizes Entries: A total of three (3) Segments (each, a “Large Draw Prizes Entry Segment”) each respectively consists of the opportunity to receive one (1), two (2) or three (3) Large Draw Prizes entries (each, a “Large Draw Prizes Entry”). The odds of landing on a Large Draw Prizes Entry Segment in connection with any given Spin are 3/11 (and 1/11 for each of the three (3) different types of Large Draw Prizes Entry Segments).
  2. Medium Draw Prizes Entries: A total of three (3) Segments (each, a “Medium Draw Prizes Entry Segment”) each respectively consists of the opportunity to receive one (1), two (2) or three (3) Medium Draw Prizes entries (each, a “Medium Draw Prizes Entry”). The odds of landing on a Medium Draw Prizes Entry Segment in connection with any given Spin are 3/11 (and 1/11 for each of the three (3) different types of Medium Draw Prizes Entry Segments
  3. Small Draw Prizes Entries: A total of three (3) Segments (each, a “Small Draw Prizes Entry Segment”) each respectively consists of the opportunity to receive one (1), two (2) or three (3) Small Draw Prizes entries (each, a “Small Draw Prizes Entry”). The odds of landing on a Small Draw Prizes Entry Segment in connection with any given Spin are 3/11 (and 1/11 for each of the three (3) different types of Large Draw Prizes Entry Segments).
  4. End Turn: A total of one (1) Segment (the “End Turn Segment”) consists of the entrant not receiving any Entries or Instant Prizes in connection with the applicable Spin. The odds of landing on the End Turn Segment in connection with any given Spin are 1/11.
  5. Spin Again: A total of one (1) Segment (the “Spin Again Segment”) consists of the entrant being able to Spin again. The odds of landing on the Spin Again Segment in connection with any given Spin are 1/11.
  6. Instant Prizes: See section 8 for details regarding the odds of winning an Instant Prize (defined below). If you are deemed a potential Instant Prize winner, you will be required to perform the winner confirmation procedure (see section 8 for details), and you may continue your current Play.

Collectively, Large Draw Prizes Entries, Medium Draw Prizes Entries and Small Draw Prizes Entries will be referred to as “Entries”.

At the start of each Play, you will be required to perform a first Spin and at the end of the first Spin, the Wheel will stop on a Wheel Segment (as determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion on the basis of a computer algorithm). After your first Spin, you may decide to: 1) end the current Play and receive the corresponding Entries (if any) (i.e. that correspond to the Wheel Segment that was stopped on); or 2) perform a second Spin and, in such event, you will forfeit the Entries that correspond with your first Spin (if any) and you will receive the Entries that correspond with your second Spin (if any).

(d) ACTIVATION OF ENTRIES

IMPORTANT NOTE: ACCESS TO A COMPATIBLE DEVICE WITH iOS 8 OR ANDROID 4.2 AND/OR ABOVE (“COMPATIBLE DEVICE”) AND THE LATEST MYROGERS APP ARE REQUIRED TO ACTIVATE THE ENTRIES EARNED THROUGH THE GAME WHEEL. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO OWN OR USE A WIRELESS DEVICE ACTIVATED ON THE ROGERS NETWORK; ENTRIES CAN BE ACTIVATED ON ANY COMPATIBLE DEVICE HAVING THE LATEST MYROGERS APP.

IN ORDER FOR YOUR ENTRIES TO BE ELIGIBLE to be entered into the applicable draw(s) (see section 9 for details), they will first need to be “Activated”.

In order to Activate your Entries, you login to the MyRogers App using a Compatible Device (and click on the Contest link included in a banner within the MyRogers App that will take you to the Contest Website. Next, follow the on-screen instructions to login to the Contest Website (using the information provided at the time of Registration) to Activate your Entries. You only need to perform an Activation once (and any subsequent Entries you receive will automatically be Activated).

5. LIMITS AND VERIFICATION

All Entries, Registrations, Spins, Activations, Daily Plays, Plays, Codes and any other type of information provided for the purposes of this Contest (collectively, “Contest-related Information”) and entrants are subject to verification at any time and for any reason.

If it is discovered by the Sponsors (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsors) that any person has attempted to:

The Sponsors reserve their right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity, eligibility and/or compliance with these Official Rules (in a form acceptable to the Sponsors – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification):

The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s). Disposable email addresses cannot be used for the purposes of this Contest. Sponsors are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected Contest-related Information, which may be disqualified (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion).

In the event of a dispute as to who has submitted any given Registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. An entrant may be required to show proof of being the applicable authorized account holder associated with a Registration in question.

All Contest-related Information is the sole and exclusive property of Sponsors. For greater certainty, Daily Plays and Entries remain the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsors and can be revoked or invalidated by the Sponsors at any time and for any reason, and entrants will not be granted any type of rights (including without limitation property rights) in or to Daily Plays or Entries. The Sponsors reserve the right to contact any registrant whose email address is submitted as part of this Contest for the purpose of administering this Contest.

If it is discovered by the Sponsors (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsors) that any person has attempted to:

6. THE DRAW PRIZES

There is a total of one hundred ten (110) draw prizes (the “Draw Prizes”) available to be won, as follows: (a) there are forty (40) small Draw Prizes (the “Small Draw Prizes”); (b) there are sixty-five (65) medium Draw Prizes (the “Medium Draw Prizes”); and (c) there are five (5) large Draw Prizes (the “Large Draw Prizes”).

The following table outlines the respective types, number and approximate retail values (“ARV”) of the Small Draw Prizes:

The following terms and conditions apply to the Draw Prizes: (i) each Draw Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash (except as may be specifically permitted by Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion); (ii) there will be no substitutions permitted, except at Sponsors’ option and Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Draw Prize (or a component thereof) with a prize of equal or greater retail value, including, without limitation, but at Sponsors’ sole and absolute discretion, a cash award; (iii) the characteristics and features of each Draw Prize (except as otherwise explicitly described above) are at the Sponsors’ sole and absolute discretion; (iv) each gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer; and (v) all costs and expenses associated with the use or redemption of any Draw Prize that is not explicitly indicated above as included in the Draw Prize are the applicable winner’s sole responsibility.

7. THE INSTANT PRIZES

At the outset of the Contest, one hundred (100) instant prizes (each, an “Instant Prize”) available to be won. The following table outlines the respective types, number and ARVs of the Instant Prizes:

*The number of Instant Prizes available to be won will decrease throughout the Contest as they are claimed in accordance with these Official Rules (see section 8 for details).

The following terms and conditions apply to the Instant Prizes: (i) each Instant Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash (except as may be specifically permitted by Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion); (ii) there will be no substitutions permitted, except at Sponsors’ option and Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Instant Prize (or a component thereof) with a prize of equal or greater retail value, including, without limitation, but at Sponsors’ sole and absolute discretion, a cash award; (iii) the characteristics and features of each Instant Prize (except as otherwise explicitly described above) are at the Sponsors’ sole and absolute discretion; (iv) each gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer; and (v) all costs and expenses associated with the use or redemption of any Instant Prize that is not explicitly indicated above as included in the Instant Prize are the applicable winner’s sole responsibility.

Collectively, the Instant Prizes and the Draw Prizes will be referred to as the “Prizes”.

8. INSTANT PRIZE WINNER SELECTION AND CONFIRMATION:

Each of the Instant Prizes will be time stamped and the first person who performs a Spin on (or immediately after) a predetermined time stamp (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion on the basis of its official records) will be deemed the potential winner of the corresponding Instant Prize. The odds of winning an Instant Prize will change throughout the course of the Entry Period as Instant Prizes are claimed, and will depend on the number and timing of eligible entrants who perform Spins. If you are deemed to be a potential Instant Prize winner, then you will instantly be presented with a pop-up page with a description of the Instant Prize, along with a mathematical skill-testing question. If you correctly answer the skill-testing question (which must be answered without any type of aid), a pop-up page will display along with information regarding claiming your Instant Prize. By accepting an Instant Prize, the applicable winner: (i) confirms compliance with these Official Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Instant Prize as awarded; (iii) releases the Contest Parties and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Instant Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsors, worldwide, in perpetuity and in any manner or media whatsoever (including without limitation print, broadcast or the internet, and on a list of winners). If a potential Instant Prize winner: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) cannot, or is unwilling to, accept the applicable Instant Prize as awarded (for any reason); and/or (c) is determined to be in violation of these Official Rules (all as determined by the Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion); then he/she will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to an Instant Prize) and such Instant Prize will not be awarded.

9. DRAW PRIZES WINNER SELECTION AND CONFIRMATION

On October 2, 2017 (the “Draw Date”) at the offices of the Administrator at 22 Hamilton Avenue North in Ottawa, Ontario at 12:00:00 ET, the Administrator will perform the following three (3) random draws (the “Draw Prizes Draws”):

The Administrator or its designated representative will make a maximum of three (3) attempts to contact each potential Draw Prize winner via the email address provided at the time of registration within ten (10) business days of the Draw Date. If a potential Draw Prize winner cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or ten (10) business days of the Draw Date; then such potential Draw Prize winner will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Draw Prize) and the Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate potential winner from among the remaining applicable eligible Entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such new potential winner, with the necessary amendments).

BEFORE BEING DECLARED A CONFIRMED DRAW PRIZE WINNER, each potential Prize winner will be required to: (a) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid (which may be administered over the phone or via the Sponsors’ declaration and release form); (b) sign and return within ten (10) business days of notification the Sponsors’ declaration and release form, which (among other things): (i) confirms compliance with these Official Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Prize as awarded; (iii) releases the Releasees from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the applicable Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsors, worldwide, in perpetuity and in any manner or media whatsoever (including without limitation print, broadcast or the internet, and on the list of winners). If a potential Prize winner: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) fails to return the properly executed Contest documents, within the specified time; (c) cannot accept the applicable Prize as awarded (for any reason); and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of these Official Rules (all as determined by the Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion); then he/she will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Prize) and the Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate potential winner from among the remaining applicable eligible Entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such new potential winner, with the necessary amendments).

11. WILL I APPEAR IN ANY PUBLICITY IF I AM A WINNER?

If you are a winner, the Sponsors may require you to appear in publicity related to the Contest or to any similar contest.

By accepting a Prize:

12. HOW WILL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BE COLLECTED, USED AND DISCLOSED?

By entering the Contest, you consent to Rogers’ collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy, available at www.rogers.com/web/content/Commitment-to-Privacy (the “Rogers Privacy Policy”), for purposes of administering the Contest as described in these Official Rules.

Over the course of participating in the Contest, you may be given the option to receive commercial emails or other communications of a commercial nature (collectively, “Commercial Communications”) from the Sponsors or other parties. Should you elect to receive Commercial Communications from Rogers, your personal information will be used by Rogers to that end, in accordance with the Rogers Privacy Policy.

Your personal information may be disclosed to a third party in the following circumstances:

Rogers’ disclosure of your personal information to another party will cause your personal information to be subject to that party’s privacy policy and practices.

13. HOW DO THE RELEASEES LIMIT THEIR LIABILITY?

The Releasees assume no liability for the following:

14. WHAT LAWS APPLY TO THE CONTEST?

The laws of the province or territory in which you reside apply to the Contest.

Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal or civil laws. Should any such attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. CAN THE SPONSORS CANCEL OR AMEND THE CONTEST?

The Sponsors may cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest or amend these Official Rules for any reason whatsoever, subject only to prior approval by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, if legally required. For example, if for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsors may adjust any of the dates, timeframes or other Contest mechanics, or suspend or cancel the Contest.

You may not amend these Official Rules in any way.

16. WOULD THE SPONSORS EVER DISQUALIFY OR BAN SOMEONE FROM A CONTEST?

The Sponsors may disqualify without notice or ban someone from the Contest or any future contest for any other reason, including if the Sponsors find that a person has:

17. WHAT HAPPENS IF THESE OFFICIAL RULES CONTRADICT OTHER CONTEST MATERIALS?

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Official Rules and disclosures or statements made by the Sponsors or appearing in other Contest-related materials, these Official Rules shall govern.

18. WHAT HAPPENS IF PART OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BECOMES UNENFORCEABLE OR DOES NOT APPLY?

If any part of these Official Rules is legally unenforceable or inapplicable, then that part will be deemed invalid; however, the remainder of these Official Rules will otherwise continue to be legally binding.

19. IF I AM A RESIDENT OF QUEBEC, IS THERE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I SHOULD KNOW?

Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
